Press & media
Waidrn is an independent fiction archive and community: readers publish and discuss their stories, fanworks and original art, and community projects ask readers to back the stories they want to exist. Everything is written and drawn by the people who post it; nothing is imported from another platform and there is no advertising feed.
The short version
- Waidrn is an independent fiction archive and community for stories, fanworks and original art.
- Publishing and reading are free; there is no paywall and no advertising feed.
- Community projects use simulated WAID to display support; no money moves through the product.
- Everyone posts their own work; rights, content and moderation rules apply to every surface.
- Demo accounts and seeded content are labelled as demonstration data, never presented as real members.
On the simulated economy
WAID is a simulated in-product currency: it has no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or withdrawn, and creates no investment, ownership or return. Community funding is a display-and-support mechanism, not a security or a promise of delivery. All numbers shown in the product are simulated.
