Manifesto

Post what you want to exist. Other people put money and attention behind it. Someone claims it and builds it in public milestones. Readers and patrons pay only for what is actually delivered — and everything is funded by people who care, not by ads, paywalls, or a platform tax.

That is the whole product in one breath.

We are not building a storefront. We are building a town square. The archive is free. The conversation is open. The money is a tool for attention, not a toll booth.

Money is precious, so make sure it arrives to those who can realize what you yearn to see. A coin staked to a story keeps it alive. A coin pledged to a quest says: I want this to exist. A coin that stops moving says: nobody wants this enough — and it fades, gracefully, into a tombstone.

Pay only for what is actually delivered. Milestones, not marketing. Patrons hold the exit at every step: STAY or LEAVE. No deliverable, no payment. The receipt is public. The contract is literal. The community is kind; the ledger is ruthless.

Wealth is taxed. Work isn't. The founder's treasury decays so the economy can live. Posts pay rent so memory stays honest. Nobody pays a platform fee. The platform charges nothing, because the platform is not the business — the work is.

No ideologies, no safe havens. Waidrn is neutral infrastructure for human creativity, with a content policy that means it: illegal content, harassment and stolen work are removed, and everything else is left to readers, creators and their patrons.

One contract system, two worlds: the rules of the magic are shared; the stories and the kinds of quests are different.

Come make something. Put your money where your wanting is. Stay.
